Coaches Class to be Held

A licensed class for all new and returning coaches (and any interested parents) to Green Hills Soccer Club will be held Thursday July 30^th at 5:30 pm at the Club soccer fields near the picnic tables.  This class will be held by Denny Vaninger, State Director of Coaching and Education for the Missouri Youth Soccer Association.  This is a beginner level class and is MANDATORY for all new coaches to Green Hills Soccer Club.  As Denny notes in his handbook, “the emphasis of the “F” coaching license is designed to assist the parent/coach who may or may not have any prior coaching experience with youth soccer players.  The curriculum focuses on the development of the player as an individual and as a part of the team.  Coaching youth soccer players should be rewarding to the coaches as well as the young players.  Soccer should be fun for everyone involved.”
